The Cowshed
Not just a hip hangout for celebrities, although a stay at Babington almost guarantees sightings of Zoe Ball and Norman Cook, Kate Moss, Cat Deeley and friends, the spa focuses on some serious holistic treatments. Newly re-vamped after a fire, the cowshed is named after it’s former occupants. Now it’s sleek silver pod-like sauna and steam rooms are a sharp contract to the earthy au-natural treatment huts dotted around the ground by the lake. To be close to nature book a treatment in the Yurt, Mongolian Tent or one of the Native American teepees situated in a peaceful spot by the lake.

Stayed at Babbington House for my birthday and really enjoyed the spa treatments at the Cowshed, great outdoor swimming pool which is kept steaming hot even in the winter. Enjoyed a wonderful massage in the Red Indian Teepee.
