The Laguna Spa at the Park Plaza
Forget the sleek modern aesthetic. Forget the uber-cool boutique hotel, of which it is part. What strikes you first about Spa is the friendliness of its staff. Coming a close second is the quality of its treatment menu, which boasts a vast 80 Elemis and La Thérapie treatments. So choose well. The Spa Packages come highly recommended and rightly so. The Laguna Indulgence Day is an aptly named ritual which involves a full body exfoliation followed by a 55 minute deep tissue massage. It further buys you use of thier luxury facilities, a towel, robe, slippers, oh and lunch. Arguably the most visually exciting element to Laguna is its quite wonderful 20m stainless steel swimming pool, complete with Jacuzzi and steam room. In the world of spas, many claim to be an 'oasis of calm.' Few deserve such an accolade. Laguna, however, is an exception.
